Gabrielle Baker is a Research assistant at NeuRA, based in the Cognitive Ageing and Resilience Lab. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of New South Wales (2023), and an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University (2025). Her fourth-year thesis explored how Existential Threat Anxiety predicted mindfulness using multiple hierarchical regression analyses.
Prior to her work in research, Gabrielle gained first-hand experience working across the lifespan in both education and aged care. The intersection of experience in both research and applied settings underscores a commitment to understanding and bolstering holistic wellbeing throughout all stages of development.
Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys activities which promote mindfulness, such as yoga/pilates, reading and being in nature.Â
