Help us improve rehabilitation care for older Australians.

More than 700 participants and professionals will contribute to this important research, helping to shape the future of rehabilitation care in Australia.

NeuRA is leading an exciting clinical trial, in partnership with hospitals across Sydney and Melbourne. The trial aims to evaluate an innovative, home-based digital rehabilitation program for people over 50 years and over, who have experienced an acute health event.   The program is designed to support recovery and improve physical function, quality of life, emotional well-being, and healthcare use.

Participants in the study will use a specially designed app to access tailored exercise, education, surveys and track their physical activity alongside their usual rehabilitation.

In addition, the study will gather feedback from healthcare professionals involved in rehabilitation delivery. This will help evaluate the program’s feasibility and acceptability of implementing digital tools in clinical settings. Their insights will help guide future strategies and improve integration into standard care pathways.
