Rachel completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in the University of Limerick Ireland in 2020. Throughout this time she has provided physiotherapy intervention to many neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury and Dementia. She has worked in a range of physiotherapy settings from hospitals, private practice and neurological rehab.
Her passion and determination for medical technologies and research within this field directly fuelled her interest in furthering her education with a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Galway in 2023. Rachel is currently working as part of the Spinal Cord Injury Research Centre (SCIRC) TEAM at Neura, headed by Professor Simon Gandevia and is involved with many clinical trials currently being carried out by this team.
