Leesa (BExPhys, BAPsych) is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and has worked clinically in neurological, orthopaedic, oncology and cardiac rehabilitation, complex pain conditions, and in the youth mental health space. Leesa is currently working in the Spinal Cord Injury Research Centre (SCIRC) team at NeuRA led by Professor Simon Gandevia and Professor Jane Butler, where she is involved in clinical trials investigating the use of Abdominal Functional Electrical Stimulation (AFES) to improve the lives of individuals living with spinal cord injuries.
