Research Governance and Compliance Manager

With almost four decades of experience in medical research, Deb began her career at UNSW in 1986 with two of the founding scientists of NeuRA as a laboratory manager. During a five-year stint managing research grants at UNSW, she established a grants database and was responsible for training researchers around the country on how to use it more effectively to find grants. In this role, she established relationships with UNSW's research grants, contracts, and ethics offices. After transitioning into a managerial role at NeuRA in 2001, she now serves as Research Governance and Compliance Manager. Deb's qualifications include a Bachelor in Health Administration from UNSW, Pathology Technician Certification, Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and numerous certificates in Contracts, Good Clinical Practice and Workplace Safety.
