Dr Grace Wei is a Research Fellow with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases. She completed her PhD at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney, where she was awarded the Postgraduate Research Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Grace has worked across clinical research projects and trials in frontotemporal dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Her current research focuses on genetic risk and familial and inherited forms of dementia, as well as improving outcomes for people living with dementia. Her work explores biomarkers, social cognition and behaviour, and evidence-informed approaches to improve clinical care and post-diagnostic support. She is particularly interested in treatments and support strategies that improve prognosis and quality of life for people living with dementia and their families.
