Dementia research is vital

Bob died of dementia at 53

Bob Rushton had served Australia with pride in the Army. He had arranged complex medical evacuation of critically ill people from around the world. He loved camping, his mates and our great outdoors. He was the salt of the earth.

Most of all, Bob loved his family – his wife, Lisa; his children, Stephanie, Amy and Poppy; and then later, his two grandsons.

The day he visited our research centre, aged only 48, it was clear that all of this was being rapidly stolen from him.

Bob later died of dementia. He was 53.

For the past 30 years, unraveling the mysteries of the brain and nervous system has been our life’s work.

Our discoveries have led us to open new avenues for treatment for people living with schizophrenia and discover new and previously uncharted parts of the human brain.

Your generosity could fund our next major discovery.

Double your impact! Your support can go even further during the 3rd - 17th June, where your contribution will be doubled, effectively doubling the difference you make in the lives of those in need.
When you donate during our matched donation campaign, every dollar you give will be matched by a generous donor, doubling the impact of your generosity. Your $50 becomes $100, your $100 becomes $200, and so on.

We have partnered with a generous donor who has pledged to match all donations received during the 3rd to 17th of June. Our matched giving is only available for a limited time. Act now to maximise the impact of your donation and take advantage of this unique opportunity to double your support.

Double your impact!

Your tax-deductible gift could be the one that sparks a life-changing breakthrough for people living with diseases and disorders of the brain and nervous system. And if you give today, every dollar you give will be matched by a generous donor!

Donations will be used by NeuRA where the need is greatest. We collect your personal information to issue receipts and keep you updated on our work. If you want to change how your personal information is used please call us on 02 9399 1122 or 1300 888 019. Our privacy policy is available here.
