Serena completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at UNSW in 2023. Her honours thesis explored the factors that drive people to play violent video games, and the effects of video game play on self-determination and self-presentation.
Serena joined NeuRA in 2024 as a Research Assistant for the Resilient Minds (ReMind) Longitudinal Study and the Brain Health Study (BHS), and is currently investigating the relationship between biomarkers of neurodegeneration, dementia and cognitive health.
