Maija is a medicine student at UNSW completing an honours project under Dr Saurab Sharma at NeuRA’s Centre for Pain IMPACT. Maija's honours project will investigate healthcare professionals’ experiences treated culturally and linguistically diverse populations for musculoskeletal pain. Maija is interested in how sociocultural factors influence health and how we can make medicine more accessible to disadvantaged populations.
