ILP StudentKiran is an ILP student working under Dr Jasmine's team. In particular, he is working on his ILP project which is treadmill-based Gait adaptability in people with Parkinson's using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). By assessing the neural mechanisms underlying gait control, Kiran's research aims to identify specific patterns and potential therapeutic targets. His work not only seeks to enhance our understanding of the neural basis of gait disturbances in Parkinson's patients but also strives to develop more effective interventions to improve their mobility and overall quality of life.
