Kawther Inuwa graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Science in 2021 and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) in 2022 with a 1st Class Honours. During her time as a student, she worked as a research assistant at the Sexuality and Interpersonal Processes Lab, and more recently, on an epidemiological study investigating the prevalence and sociodemographic correlates of child and adolescent mental health disorders in West Africa.
Kawther's interests lie in delineating the emotional and social cognitive processes underlying the trajectory of resilience pathways following early-life adversity. She is currently undertaking her PhD with the Gatt Resilience Lab at Neuroscience Research Australia.
