Ellen is working with Professor Broe in a research assistant capacity. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Sociology) (Hons in International Relations) from the University of Notre Dame Australia; has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Sydney, and is undertaking her PhD at UNSW. Ellen’s current research looks at social and political power asymmetries in health outcomes between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians, specifically focusing on rates of dementia. Ellen has previously looked at power asymmetries in relation to gender and security, asylum seekers’ access to bodily integrity.
