Cathy joined the Falls, Balance and Injury Research Centre as a Research Assistant in 2022, following her Honours thesis investigating biomechanical differences in treadmill- and walkway-induced balance recovery responses. She thoroughly enjoys the dynamic nature of her role, working on various research projects that address significant fall-related health burdens on individuals. Outside of NeuRA, Cathy has a keen interest in adolescent mental health and is currently pursuing further studies in Psychology. When she's not working she enjoys spending time on the volleyball courts.
