Professor Anstey is a co-CI on this project led by Professor Ester Cerin from ACU. EPOCH examines the complex impact of the neighbourhood built environment and other related attributes of the natural environment and pollution on cognitive impairment and dementia in later life. We will also advance environmental and ageing research via the integration of interdisciplinary data resources in the UK and Australia, development of novel research methods and creation of research capacity for future leaders and researchers.
