TCC-REHAB: The development of a telerehabilitation app to assess the mobility of older people and people with Parkinson’s disease


What are the aims of this study?

Develop a telerehabilitation app that assesses the mobility of older people and people living with Parkinson’s disease.

Who can participate?
  • People with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease aged 18 years or older
  • Able to speak and comprehend English
  • Able to stand for 1 minute and walk for 10 meters without any support
What will participants have to do?
  • Complete an online survey that will take up to 30 minutes to complete.
  • Clinical, mobility and balance assessments that will take up to 110 minutes to complete at the Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA).

All participants will receive a $50 gift voucher to reimburse for any reasonable travel expenses while completing the research procedures.
