Seeking national consensus on an implementation strategy for reablement for community-dwelling people living with dementia

While reablement and rehabilitation interventions such as occupational therapy and exercise are recommended for people living with dementia, they are not routinely available in dementia practice in Australia.

This project is seeking expert opinion (via a Delphi survey) around how to drive uptake of evidence-informed reablement for dementia in real-world practice within community aged care. The outcome will be an implementation strategy that is broadly applicable to the community aged care sector in Australia.

This research has been approved by the UNSW HREC (iRECS6591).
