Tegan Cox

Chief Research OfficerTegan Cox joined NeuRA in the newly created position of Chief Research Officer in early 2026, focusing on implementation of the NeuRA Forward Research Strategy.
Previously Tegan was Chief Operating Officer at the Brain and Mind Centre, where she led the implementation of strategic and operational research plans across the University of Sydney. Tegan has a strong background in clinical research management, health service leadership and management consulting. With a passion for person-centred care and innovative models of health service delivery, Tegan is an innovator and knows the research and clinical landscape through and through.
Prior to her role at Brain and Mind, Tegan consulted across health, education and public sector organisations at Think Different and was also Head of Industry, Health at Business Events Sydney, overseeing the end-to-end bidding process with government, universities and the private sector. She also has a blue-chip background at KPMG and has worked in a number of key roles across Local Health Districts.
Tegan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science, Radiation Therapy) and a Masters of Health Law, both from the University of Sydney.
