Professor Stephen Davis is the Professor of Translational Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, Director of the Melbourne Brain Centre at the RMH and a Past-President of the World Stroke Organisation.

He co-chairs the Melbourne Mobile Stroke Unit program and is co-chair of the Australian Stroke Alliance.  A major focus of this five-year $40 million program is the development of ultralightweight brain imaging to be deployed in aircraft and standard ambulances, and allow treatment of stroke in rural and remote locations of Australia.
