Kerry-Ann Virgo is a senior fundraising leader with extensive experience across the full philanthropic pipeline, from annual giving and appeals through to principal gifts and campaigns. She specialises in building long-term donor relationships and leading fundraising programs in complex, research-led environments.

Throughout her career, Kerry-Ann has personally secured more than $60 million in philanthropic support and has helped teams secure millions more.

Kerry-Ann has deep experience leading major initiatives involving blended funding models across philanthropy, government, and institutional investment. Her fundraising achievements include securing Australia’s largest philanthropic gift to Indigenous Australians from individual donors.

Most recently Kerry-Ann led the major gifts program at The Australian National University (ANU), where her team significantly exceeded fundraising targets.Earlier in her career, Kerry-Ann helped launch London Business School’s first-ever fundraising campaign and worked as a major gifts fundraiser at King's College London, focusing on mental health and neuroscience. The gifts she has raised in this area have been among the most meaningful of her career, and she is passionate about communicating complex medical research in ways that inspire donor support.

Kerry-Ann is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an MBA from ANU with a specialisation in evidence-based management. She also completed the NCTJ Pre-entry Certificate in Journalism and earned a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the University of Bristol.

Outside of work, Kerry-Ann enjoys trail running, British comedy, and reading about history, politics, and economics. She is also interested in research and ideas about how teams and organisations perform at their best.
