Jo was appointed SESLHD Director Clinical Governance & Medical Services in mid-2019. In a medical management career spanning 30 years, Jo has held senior management roles in both the public and private sectors, including both the NSW and Commonwealth Health Departments, and Local Health Districts in rural NSW and metro Sydney.

Jo holds an MBBS and MBA from Monash University and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, where she is a current Censor for the College Fellowship exams.

Jo is known for her independent and innovative approach to problem solving and has skills and expertise in Mentoring, Medical Workforce, Credentialling & Scope of Clinical Practice as well as Emergency Management & Response. She is a regular advisor to the NSW Ministry of Health on medical workforce matters.
