This year, NeuRA hosted Australia’s first-ever family conference for those affected by early onset Alzheimer’s Disease. This rare genetic form of Alzheimer’s strikes early, often between the ages of 30 and 50, and affects entire generations.

Thanks to DIAN, researchers now know that Alzheimer’s begins 15–20 years before symptoms appear. With PET scans and blood-based biomarkers, we can detect these changes early - opening the door to prevention. But there’s still so much more to do.
